The Purpose of The Burgeoning Belly
Originally, I started this blog to pass the time when I was put on bedrest so early in my pregnancy. It then grew and became a means of communication while we waited for our babies to be released from the NICU. Now I guess it serves as a scrapbook of sorts, to be shared with anyone who has come to know and love our family. We welcome everyone to our blog and appreciate the prayers and love that come our way as our story reaches people and places we never thought it would. We are grateful for so many things and we hope sharing our story is a way to say thank you.

This is a beautiful family portrait!
The family picture is great - the only thing that would make it better is if we were taking it at home. But then, we would miss those most becoming yellow gowns!

A belated happy first Mother's Day!! I know it's not the ideal setting...but I hope you had a happy day nonetheless. This is just the first of many. Your future is filled with fistfulls of squashed dandelions and tissue-paper flowers, and drawerfulls of handmade cards!
